Tour Of Walsall

Walsall is on Google Street View now (along with 95% of the UK apparently). So I thought I’d give you a little tour of my town :) This is going to interest NO ONE.

This is where I was born. Nothing to see here really, it’s only here for completeness.

This is the house we lived in until I was about 9. See that flowery border thing running below the top windows.. my mom and dad have one of those bricks un their loft still. My dad took the top window ledge out when we were there and kept it as a souvenir.

I can tell you that this photo was taken about June/July last year. And yes, they do have the Christmas decorations still up. Scumdog.

This is my primary school. A lot smaller than I remember. They have a real electric school bell now. When I was there someone in the top year would run around the outside of the school ringing a bell. If you go left from here there’s the swimming baths. They built that when I was about 10 – and we loved it.

This was my secondary school, T.P.Riley. But they knocked it down and built this ‘academy’ because it was a failing school or something. If you look to the left there’s some bushes. Some girls threw me in that once, I don’t know why, I think they wanted me inside them.

Walsall College. I went here for a year. I didn’t do much – as you’ve probably already heard me banging on about.

This is where my first ‘real’ job was. By ‘real’ I mean, lasted longer than 6 months. Don’t let the signs fool you, it’s not a furniture shop! They do dating websites. I was a php coder/web developer. You might notice that it’s right next to the street I grew up on, weird eh!

This was my first flat, when I moved out of my parents house a couple of years ago. It was really nice.

This is where I live right now. It’s actually in the same complex as my first one – so the move wasn’t so bad. it’s the orange bit at the top, and the one under it. If you zoom out, that’s the ‘New Art Gallery’ on the left. It’s called the New Art Gallery still, even though it celebrated its 10th birthday this year. And that’s the Wharf Bar on the right.

And here’s where Facepunch HQ is situated. In that big building in the background. To the left of this photo is Asda, and to the right is Birmingham. Behind is the red light district. Where you go for hoes. A blowjob costs £5, even if you don’t cum.

Shakespeare Crescent was a notoriously rough street when I was a kid. A couple of years ago they bulldozed the whole street into the ground. I think it looks cool.
