I’ve started playing TF2 again over the last week or so. People with halos, people with arrows, jars of yellow stuff, inventory screens. What the fuck. I have no idea what the hell is going on.

I’m having a bit of fun though, and the promise of unlocking items and hats and stuff does kind of keep me playing.

Anyway, D-Smiley has a server that no-one plays on. Lets change that.

The people in there seem to be ok ad I like smaller servers but it’s in Chivago. The ping is just not good for me here in Germany.
I know it’s nitpicking to care about ping 60 or 120 but it really shows when playing. I don’t like that.

Fast respawn is just bad. It makes most maps unpleasant to play, and it turns some into a meat-grinder, especially maps like Dustbowl, or the first stage of Goldrush.

There’s absolutely nothing I hate more than servers that run fast respawn without tags so I can’t just filter them out.

All fast respawn does is turn TF2 into a mindless deathmatch game, as it makes it near impossible to actually achieve objectives. It’s a prime example of people unable to resist instant gratification in order to get more satisfying long-term fun.

@24, it was a program that pretended like you were playing on a server so in-case you had a life you wouldn’t have to waste hours of your LIFE trying to get hats. Valve disabled it and made everyone who used it in shame by giving everyone who didnt a new hat, which is impossible to get by idlers.

That aside; I played on this server for awhile. My team was horrible. Half of them were AFK while the other half got barely any kills and couldn’t even stop the enemy from building in our intel. The other team on the other hand were all working together. sigh.

*Only few maps
*Nice maps glitches (last cap’s: buildable at high at top)(pyro’s flames goes through the gate)
*Disguised spies had teleporter trail.
